Neville Southall MBE is a Welsh former international footballer. He has been described as one of the best goalkeepers of his generation and won the FWA Footballer of the Year award in 1985. For Everton he made a club record 578 appearances in the Football League and Premier League

Joe Royle is a hugely successful footballer as both a player and manager. He enjoyed a career in the thick of English football, experience the trials and tribulations as well as the success of becoming one the best in your field. Playing for the Liverpool Schoolboys team, Joe attracted a huge amount of attention from the likes of Manchester United, however he signed for his home club of Everton, making his debut at the young age of 16, a record he would hold almost four decades. The top goal scorer at Everton for five seasons, Joe made 270 appearances in total, scoring 119 times.
