About Tom

Tom is one of the hottest young stand-ups on the circuit today, having already performed on The Rob Brydon Show and Dave's One Night Stand. After winning The Chortle Student Comedian Award in 2007, Tom took part in Edinburgh Festival's longest running group comedy show, The Comedy Zone in 2008, which previously launched the careers of Russell Howard, Harry Hill and Al Murray. The following year he returned to the festival with his first solo show, Indecisive, performing to sold-out crowds and gaining critical acclaim. Tom returned to the festival in 2011 with new show Can I Be Honest? and in 2012 is debuting Tom Deacon: Deaconator. From 2007 Tom presented The 5:19 Show, a youth orientated programme for BBC Switch, featuring comedy sketches, music and celebrity interviews. The show aired daily online and on Saturday mornings on BBC Two.
