John Beresford is a Sheffield lad and passionate United fan who enjoyed a varied footballing career with Manchester City, Barnsley, Portsmouth, Southampton and Newcastle United.
He is best remembered for his spell at Newcastle United between 1992 and 1998 where his attacking tendencies were crucial for the team known at that time as 'The Entertainers'.
Nowadays he can be seen on television as a pundit and he is becoming a much sought After Dinner Speaker on the circuit with his natural humour in telling stories from his playing days with legends like Alan Shearer, David Ginola and Gazza.
