GENERAL TERMS

• For all tickets purchased, your name will be on the door at the entrance to the club. Please bring your E-Ticket with you as proof of purchase or you can show this on your mobile phone at the ticket booth. Your E-ticket will be issued within a few minutes from completing your purchase.
• when making a booking, all 
• All seating is unreserved (unless otherwise stated) and allocated by us prior to the performance. A member of staff will show you to your seats upon arrive. 
• All bookings under the same account will be sat together, if you or members of your group arrive late you may not be sat together.
• If you are attending as a group and have made individual bookings but want to be sat together you must notify us of this request at least 48 hours before the scheduled show so we can make amendments to the seating plan, anybody who arrives in a group but has booked individually and hasn't notified us may be sat in seperates parts of the theatre. 
• At least one full price ticket needs to be purchased to claim our free birthday ticket offer to ensure that birthday bookings are genuine bookings and avoid no shows on the night. Valid I.D. must be presented to guarnetee entrance.  This offer is only valid on qualifying shows, tour shows and external events are excluded. • Any customers continually disrupting the show, using their mobile phones, heckling, shouting out or talking WILL be asked to leave.
• Line-ups are correct at time of purchase, but may be subject to change. No refunds will be offered for changes to the lineup but we will always endeavour to replace with like for like performers. Customers will not be notified of any changes made to shows with multiple comedians performing.
• Only alcohol purchased on the premises may be consumed on-site. If anybody is found to be consuming alcohol that they've brought in with them then they WILL be asked to leave.
• Cameras are allowed in the venue but flash photography during performances is prohibited.
• Recording equipment are strictly prohibited inside the venue.
• Hot Water Comedy Club reserves the right to refuse admission in reasonable circumstances and is entitled to conduct security searches of persons and property to ensure the safety of all patrons inside the comedy club.
• Any customer arriving and deemed to be too intoxicated or disruptive will be refused entry without refund.
• Mobile phones, pagers and watches should be silenced before entering the performance room.
• Hot Water Comedy Club reserves the right to make any alterations to advertised listings without notice
• The duration of each ticketed performance will be clearly indicated on the event desription. However, as is the nature of live events, these timings are aproximate and subject to slight changes. We kindly ask for your understanding and suggest considering this possibility when arranging your travel plans.
• From time to time events at Hot Water Comedy Club may change to a different theatre, if there is no change to the time or date and the event is going ahead in Hot Water Comedy in Liverpool either Hardman Street or Blackstock Market then our normal cancellation terms apply and no refund will be offered. 
• Tickets can be transferred to another date or a credit issued to your online account if requesred 14 days or more before your scheduled performance date for all shows booked directly on the Hot Water Comedy Club website.  If you purchase tickets 14 days or less before your event the same terms apply and you will not be eligible for credit should you need to cancel and your seats will remain for you.  This request must be made by contacting us via the help centre or live chat only and can not be done via email, phone or any other social media platform.  Refunds can not be given for any event .Refunds can not be given for any event. 
• Due to a high volume of known scams your tickets must not be re-sold by anybody other than The Hot Water Comedy Club or one of its authorised agents. Failure to comply will make this ticket void and if we suspect any of your tickets have been resold prior to the event all tickets linked to you will entitle ourselves or the promotor to cancel the tickets without proir notice minus the booking fee. should you breach this term you may also be banned. 
• If you purchase a ticket from a private seller, you run the risk of not being admitted entry for the show, should a buyer be refused entry on the night no refund will be issued to the booker as the seats will have remained for the booker who has breached their terms.  Likewise if your ticket is edited or not the original ticket then entry will be refused.
• To prevent fraud and protect ourselves and you, we may carry out checks and/or you may be asked to provide additional information.  If we suspect fraud we may cancel any other tickets. 
• If a show is cancelled for any reason all customers will receive a credit note to use at a later date.
• Our Customers enjoyment of the show is the most important to us. We expect members of the audience to respect the performers, other members of the audience, the staff and the venue. This means that we will do our utmost to ensure our customers can enjoy the show without interruptions to the show or people talking while the performers are on stage. If you are not interested in watching the show please do not spoil it for the other people who are.
• If an audience member persistently interrupts a performer or if the heckling is vicious, racist, or in any other way offensive in our opinion we will take action to put a stop to it. In most cases this will firstly be a polite request for the offender to stop their heckling.
• It is the responsibility of the ticket purchaser to let all members of the group know and ensure that they agree to our terms and conditions and house rules
• All ticket holders consent to the recording and filming of themselves as members of the audience As we record most shows and reserve the right to use any footage recorded how we see fit including publishing online across our social media channels. It is the responsibility of the ticket purchaser to let all members of the group know. If this isn't agreed then please do not purchase tickets. 
• Hot Water Comedy Club conforms to the Data Protection Act 1998.
• Comments and feedback are very important to us and help to improve the services delivered to all our customers. We encourage anyone who uses the services or facilities at Hot Water Comedy Club to comment on their experience and we will respond in a professional, consistent, accurate and honest way.

• Due to a small number of people reserving tickets for our free entry shows and not attending or cancelling their tickets with enough notice we now have a 3 strike rule. If you reserve tickets for our free shows and dont attend or cancel 3 times in one year then your future free entry tickets will be automatically cancelled without notice. This is to ensure seats arent blocked off for other customers by people who have no intention of attending.
• For all shows at our main Hardman Street Hot Water Comedy Club shows all customers need to arrive by the show start time. If you arrive late your tickets may be sold on to fill an empty seats.  For any free event tickets including guarenteed tickets you must arrive no later than the start of the show or seats will become availalble for waiting customers.  If this happens and you arrive after this time you will be issued with a credit note to book for a later date. You must notify the show manager on the night if you want to claim your credit note.  This excludes shows with no breaks such as solo/tour shows. This does not apply for external events and tour shows.  Please check their own policy.
• ID may be required which would need to match the name on your ticket to gain entry.  Free entry tickets are at a first serve basis from doors opening.
• For the purposes of these Venue Terms, “Force Majeure” means any cause beyond Hot Water Comedy Club or the Organiser’s reasonable control, including, without limitation, any act of God, war, insurrection, riot, civil disturbances, acts of terrorism, fire, explosion, flood, royal death, national mourning (including as a result of a royal death), theft of essential equipment, malicious damage, strike, lock out, weather, national defence requirements or acts or regulations of national or local governments. Neither we nor the Organiser will be liable to you under these Venue Terms to the extent that any loss or failure of Hot Water Comedy Club/the organiser is caused by a Force Majeure event.

BOOKING/SECURITY INFORMATION

• Tickets/Meals/Drinks Packages can only be exchanged if requested 14 days or more before the scheduled performance date for all shows at Hot Water Comedy Club, Hardman Street only. This request can only be done using the Help Centre on our website.
• Pre booked meals at our Parlour Restaurant can be rearranged up to 48 hours before your booking provided you contact us using our contact us form on our website.  All pre booked meals at our Parlour restaurant will include a £10 per person non refundable deposit for any no shows.  You will be able to recieve a credit note for any remaining balance. Please contact us to recieve your credit note via the customer service form on our website (excluding any non refundable booking fees).
• Refunds cannot be given for any shows or bookings.
• If you do not turn up for your scheduled event (including drinks packages, meals or tickets) then no refund will be given.
• We charge a booking fee per transaction which will be clearly displayed before completing your purchase.
• All credit/debit card payments are fully secured.
• For any tickets booked through our website for an event taking place at a different venue then your email address may be given to them for fulfilment of your ticket but not for marketing purposes.
• If a show is cancelled a credit note will be given to the customer for tickets purchased.
• If for any unforeseen reason a show is cancelled during the actual performance then a credit note or exchange will be offered If less than half way through the show. After this time no credit note will be offered. We will not refund and drinks or food orders from the bar but will allow time to finish these if at all possible.
• If you are refused entry due to having a 'fever' whilst being 'temperature check' on entry then no refund would be given. the rest of your group would be able to attend as normal but unfortunately due to Covid we are unable to allow anybody inside the venue with a temperature for the safety of our customers and staff.
• Large Items such as rucksacks and shopping bags or bigger are too large and not allowed in the venue, we do not have a cloakroom so these items can not be brought along to the show due to health and safety as they can obstruct walkways, small handbags are fine for entrance.

Ticket Delivery

• Immediately after you have booked your tickets, your ticket will be sent to you via email. If you booked your tickets AFTER 4th May then you can also download a copy by logging into your online account, so if for any reason you dont receive your email, you will always have easy access to your tickets. Please be sure to check your junk folder if you have not received them. If you have purchased tickets BEFORE 4th May and can not locate your e tickets in your email please contact us via the Help Centre.

• By signing up with this site, you are agreeing to be added to our Mailing List. These settings can be changed at any time.
• We will also contact you with important emails that relate directly to an event that you have booked. This may include, but is not restricted to: a receipt, a request for a review of the event, important information pertaining to your booked event.
