Since then he has performed all over Britain, from the highlands of Scotland to the bottom tip of Cornwall, and hundreds of places in between. in 2013, he did a tour of English speaking venues in Norway, Sweden and Denmark. In the 6 years he's been going, he has performed over 1000 gigs, including three runs at the Edinburgh Festival with the the Free Tea and Biscuits Show, which set a record for having the most genuinely homeless people in one audience front row (7). He also performed his debut hour “Cheerful Shambles” in 2013 which was well recieved by audiences and critics and had no homeless people in (as far as he's aware). He has also won West Midlands Comedy Awards- Most improved act 2009 and West Midlands Comedy Awards Best Joke 2009. He was robbed every other year. He is resident MC at gigs for 5 different promoters. Savage has been paid to write jokes for the world's largest comedy website (cracked .com), and for several ad agencies, his work appearing in ads for Michelin, Betfair and Captain Morgan's rum (one ad he wrote was used in 18 countries) among others. Jokes that he has written have appeared on BBC Three (Russell Howard's Good News), as comic strips in national publications and have been used by a critically acclaimed author. As well as performing comedy, he has also been part of two popular podcasts, been a guest on several radio stations (BBC Radio 4, Kerrang, Capital, BRMB, BBC Radio Stoke, Stafford FM and more), wrote a competition winning corporate training film, has published a book of comic strips (Being published by McKnight and Bishop), is working on about 15 different half finished scripts, and makes his own fruit gin infusions under the name “The Fruit Booze Collective”.
