About Andy

Andy Niner is one of a kind. He got into comedy to talk about real stuff that's going on in the world. After trying out various routines as 'Andy Hobo' he's now laid him to rest. He's a master of understatement and has an extremely likable manor on stage. With his unshakable grin crowds warm to him quickly. Covering a broad range of topics including cannabis, crap jobs and the environment, his strong twenty-minute set contains something for everyone. His energy is infectious and he's been known to jump onto the stage with an axe! Sometimes controversial Andy recently received a death threat for a joke about Muslims in Manchester! ''Everybody should have the piss taken out of them as far as I'm concerned! I didn't get into comedy to worry about people being offended'' said Andy when questioned about the incident. Being more than comfortable with opening, middle and compere spots, Andy has also closed with ease at some of the smaller clubs on the circuit. Andy is based in South Shropshire, drives and works regularly with midlands based comedians.
